Meet the Friends of the Lincoln Collection

The Lincoln Financial Foundation Collection is supported through the Friends of the Lincoln Collection of Indiana, a 501(c)3 organization devoted to providing funds to maintain the Lincoln Collection and to advancing Lincoln scholarship.

The Friends were originally established as the Friends of the Lincoln Museum in 2000 to raise funds for educational programs and exhibitions at the former Lincoln Museum in Fort Wayne, Indiana. In 2009, they reorganized as the Friends of the Lincoln Collection of Indiana to continue support for the Lincoln Financial Foundation Collection at the Allen County Public Library and the Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites. The Friends have taken the leadership role in the fundraising campaign on behalf of the Lincoln Collection that has supported its cataloguing, digitization, care and exhibition. They manage the funds raised and oversee the Lincoln Collection endowment that ensures this nationally important resource will remain accessible in perpetuity.

Carrying out this work takes many friends.  We thank you for your interest in the collection and your support.
