Description
This print by Currier & Ives depicts the funeral procession of President Abraham Lincoln in New York City on April 25, 1865. The procession consists of the bier carrying Lincoln's coffin drawn by a number of horses draped in black; an escort of soldiers and men in top hats; as well as the many spectators who can be seen on the sidelines and in windows of the buildings along the route.
