Description

This postcard is a photograph of President Abraham Lincoln's funeral train stopped at the depot in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, on April 22, 1865. The train cars are draped in black mourning cloth. Several people are standing on the opposite side of the train tracks. "P.R.R., Lincoln's Funeral Train" is printed in the lower left corner of the image. The number 2483 is printed in the lowe right corner of the image. The postcard reverse is divided "Prst. Lincoln's Funeral Train at Harrisburg, Pa." is handwritten in black in on the left side.
