Description
Round brass 1860 campaign ferrotype features a centered tintype portrait of John Bell, the Constitutional Union Party presidential candidate, who wears a dark jacket, bow tie, and white shirt. The portrait is surrounded by raised braided trim. Embossed around the portrait are the words, "John Bell, 1860" and leafy branches. Raised braided trim encircles the button. The top is pierced with a hole. The reverse is identical except it features a tintype portrait of Edward Everett. His name and the date are embossed around his portrait.
