Description
This jumbo-sized color postcard features in the center an illustration of President Abraham Lincoln standing in front of a large American flag holding a paper in his right hand and his left arm raised as if making a point during a speech. The caption below the illustration reads "at Gettysburg." An illustration of President Lincoln's birthplace cabin is in the upper left corner. An illustration of the Lincoln Monument in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Springfield, Illinois, is in the lower right corner. The title is printed across the top of the postcard. Text from Biedinger's book titled "Sonnets and Short Poems Illustrated in Color About Lincoln, Other Great men, Great Events, and Ordinary People" is printed on either side of the central illustration.
