Description

This is a wooden patent box for a Manny Reaper patent model (71.2009.082.0503a-b). The box is held together by metal nails along each corner. Metal nails also attach the sides of the box to the sides. The lid had two metal hinges to attach it to the box. There is a metal handle on the lid for carrying the box, and a lock in the front of the box locking the lid down. The key is attached to the handle by a thin twine. On the inside of the box there are two think strings nailed to the bottom of the box, probably for holding the patent model in place.
