This cartoon depicts Abraham Lincoln opening a door and greeting Benjamin Butler. Butler is depicted as a large balding man with longer hair over his ears and a full mustache. He is dressed in an apron and holds cleaning supplies. The text under the image reads: UNCLE ABE: "Hello! Ben, is that you? Glad to see you!" BUTLER: "Yes, Uncle Abe. Got through that New Orleans job. Cleaned them out and scrubbed them up! Any more scrubbing to give out?" The print has been cropped. This cartoon is the same image as print 71.2009.081.0117.
