Four, all boys. Robert Todd Lincoln (1843-1926) attended Harvard, served in the Union army during the Civil War, practiced law, served as Secretary of War for Presidents Garfield and Arthur, ran the Pullman Palace Car Company, and was minister to England for four years. The other three died young: Edward Baker Lincoln (1846-1850), William Wallace Lincoln (1850-1862), and Thomas "Tad" Lincoln (1853-1871).
