Description
This bronze statuette depicts President Abraham Lincoln delivering his speech known as the Gettysburg Address at the dedication ceremony for the National Cemetery on November 19, 1863, in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Lincoln is shown wearing a long coat, vest, shirt, bow tie, long pants, and square toed shoes. Lincoln is also depicted wearing wire-rimmed glasses. Lincoln's left hand holds his coat lapel and in his right is the address held in front of him as he reads. The figurine stands on a circular wooden base. On the front of the base is a plaque that reads " Abraham Lincoln The Gettysburg Address." On the bottom of the figure is engraved the artist's name, Daniel Gray.
