Description

Color portrait of President Abraham Lincoln rendered on a piece of glass. He is wearing a black suit jacket, vest, bow tie and a white collared shirt. Lincoln is bearded and his hair is swept across his forehead. He is looking to the viewer's right. The background is a wash of olive green. The painting was done from a photograph taken of Lincoln on February 9, 1864, at Brady's Washington gallery.
