Description

The figurine depicts Abraham Lincoln's right hand from the wrist down. The piece is highly detailed. The hand is closed around a short rod. This piece seems to be a replica of the casting from life done by Leonard Volk in 1860. Lincoln is holding the piece of a broom handle because Volk wanted to simulate how Lincoln's hand would look holding a document.
