Description

This bust depicts President Abraham Lincoln from the elbows and waist up. Lincoln is bearded with his head turned slightly to the viewer's left. He is wearing a jacket, buttoned vest, shirt, and bow tie. His arms are bent slightly, but the bust ends just below the elbow. The dark golden colored bust sits atop a wooden pedestal whose front side is not vertical, but slanted. This panel has a small gold-colored plaque that reads, "WITH MALICE TOWARD NONE." On the back of the bust, is etched, "John Frank NO. 10 1979." On the back of the pedestal it reads, "PRESENTED TO LOUIS A WARREN LINCOLN LIBRARY AND MUSEUM July 14 1981 JOHN FRANK."
