Description
This folder is a souvenir from Oak Ridge Cemetery in Springfield, Illinois, where President Abraham Lincoln and his family are buried. The front cover features a photograph of the Lincoln Monument in the cemetery with the title printed above and a four-line tribute to President Lincoln printed below. The reverse of the cover features a photograph of Abraham Lincoln taken of him on October 4, 1859, by Samuel Fassett in Chicago, Illinois. The page opposite has a pressed oak leaf attached to the page with a gummed silver star pasted on the stem. An American flag and an Illinois flag are printed near the top edge of the page. Below the leaf the text reads "A souvenir from Oak Ridge Cemetery, Springfield, Illinois, the final resting place of Abraham Lincoln. Presented with the compliments of Geo. A.
