Description

Porcelain reproduction Abraham Lincoln administration saucer features a gold rim and a gold braided band and a thick magenta band around the interior body. The magenta band bears a ring of gold dots at the top and two gold pinstripes at the bottom. A gold pinstripe encircles the depressed center where the foot of the teacup rests. "Haviland, Limoges, France; Haviland, France" is printed on the bottom in gold and green. The following is printed in black handwriting on the bottom: "Authentic reproduction of the cup and saucer made by Haviland in 1861 which President Abraham Lincoln used at dinner the night of April 14, 1865.
