Description

Round Abraham Lincoln floral art features a printed engraving of a beardless Abraham Lincoln wearing a dark suit, vest, bow tie, and white shirt in the center. A ring of dried flowers and plants encircles the portrait. The piece is encased within a gold-painted wood frame and covered by glass. A paper maker's label is adhered to the paper backing on the reverse. The label reads: "486. From Williams & Everett, (Succefsors to John Doggett & Co. and N.D. Cotton), manufacturers of looking-glasses & picture frames, importers of looking-glass plates, & plate glass for windows, and dealers in paintings, engravings, and other works of art. Dudley Williams, William Everett. 234 Wafhington Street, Boston." A hanging ring is screwed into the top. Part of The Lincoln Financial Foundation Collection, courtesy of the Indiana State Museum
