Description
This red, white, and blue ribbon features an attached gold-colored pin at the top with a bronze medallion suspended from it with short chains. The pin features the dome of the Capitol Building bordered with laurel branches below which an enameled blue rectangle with gold print reading "Assistant Sergeant at Arms" sits on two crossed flags. Two crossed bronze swords hang from a link to the flags. The bronze medallion features a right profile of President Abraham Lincoln in relief with an eagle with spreads wings holding two olive branches in its talons. The medallion has a blue border with gold print that reads "Republican National Convention- Chicago 1912". The back of the pin has an emblem surrounded by raised print that reads "The Whitehead & Hoag Co. Newark, N.J.". The medallion also has this emblem with the same text on the reverse.
