Description

This statuette shows a full length Abraham Lincoln seated on a rock. Lincoln faces the viewer with his head tilted down slightly. He is bearded and dressed in shoes, long pants, frock coat, waistcoat, shirt, and bow tie. Lincoln's arms rest on his legs with the hand very close to one another. Lincoln's right foot is slightly more forward and extends just pass the edge of the square base. Lincoln's stovepipe hat is on the base beside his right leg. On the back of the base is inscribed, "Charles Keck Sc." This statuette is a replica of the heroic-sized statue by Mr. Keck located on the northeast corner of the lawn of the Wabash County Courthouse in Wabash, Indiana, with the addition of the stovepipe hat.
