Description

Pin features a sketch of Abraham Lincoln in three-quarter view on a white ground. Below sketch appears signature of "A. Lincoln" in cursive handwriting. Below this signature is print that reads " ..(indecipherable) Decatur". Arching over Lincoln's head more print is present that reads "Mr. Lincoln's Country". On the lower proper right, print reads "Decatur," and on the lower proper left, print reads "Illinois". In front of "Illinois", "MUL" is present in a smaller font. All print and handwriting is in black. On the back, there is a safety pin closure mechanism used for pinning. Engraved or etched into the metal back is print that reads " R.P.M. Assoc. LaSalle, Illinois 61301". Adjacent to this engraving are engraved words of "Badge A Mint" in an enclosed frame.
