Description

Blue silk ribbon is stamped with gold text and is trimmed with gold braid around the edges and gold fringe across the bottom. A gold-colored bar pin is sewn across the top of the ribbon; "G.A.R." is painted in gold letters against a seafoam green field. A short American flag ribbon streams from beneath the pin; a round medallion with a gold-colored frame and an illustration of President Abraham Lincoln is tacked to the end of the short ribbon. The stamped text reads "Lincoln, Post No. 1, Dept. of Cal. and Nev., 37th National Encampment, August, 1903, San Francisco, Cal."
