Description

Gold silk ribbon sandwiched between two red, white, and blue striped ribbons. The cluster of ribbons features a pin attached to the top with two dangling medallions. The gold pin is shaped like an eagle with spread wings perched atop two crossed cannons. A gold-colored bar with "G.A.R." painted in red, white, and blue letters is linked below the eagle. A silver bar with a medallion featuring President Abraham Lincoln's right profile and "Springfield, Ill., 1932" is linked with short chaings in the middle. A bronze medallion with the bust of "Samuel P. Town, Commander in Chief, G.A.R." is linked below at the bottom.
