Description

This badgel features a red, white, and blue striped grograin ribbon with an attached medallion. A metal pin-bar runs across the top of the ribbon and is embossed with a shield and two crossed guns. The round dangling medallion features a soldier, Lincoln's bust, and a Union shield in low relief and the words "First Defenders, Washington, Apr. 18, 1861" embossed across the bottom. The reverse of the medallion features five linked rings embossed with the following: "Logan Guards," "Ringgold Light Artillery," "Washington Artillerists," "Allen Infantry," and "National Light Infantry."
