Description

This 31mm copper 1860 presidential campaign medal features a head and shoulders bust of a beardless Abraham Lincoln in the center surrounded by the legend "Hon. Abram Lincoln 1860." A hole is cut above the head for suspension. The reverse features the legend "The Man That Can Split Rails or Guide the Ship of State" in the center surrounded by the legend 'Lincoln & Hamlin, Freedom & Protection" inside the reeded rim.
