Description

This 38mm copper medal features a head and shoulders relief of President Abraham Lincoln in the center with his name inscribed on each side. A border has the inscription "Inaugurated President U. S., March 4, 1861-1865" surrounding the central image on the obverse. The reverse features the State of Maine coat of arms in relief surrounded by a border of five-point stars and a reeded rim.
