Description
This button was probably given to donors who supported the Lincoln Amphitheater performances in southern Indiana near President Abraham Lincoln's boyhood home. Opening in 1987 the play "Young Abe Lincoln" portrayed a story chronicling the events that helped to shape the attitudes and ideals of the 16th president as he grew up in Southern Indiana. A series of vertical lines printed in blue ink form a border along which the text "I Support Young Abe Lincoln Outdoor Drama" is printed also in blue ink. Part of the Lincoln Financial Foundation Collection, courtesy of the Indiana State Museum
