Description

This item is a folder with the title "Art Metal Reproductions for Display" printed in white and green letters on the cover with a small illustration of President Abraham Lincoln in the lower right corner. The inside of the folder contains a color head and shoulders portrait of President Lincoln on a square metal plaque fastened to the right side of the folder. Lincoln is depicted turned very slightly toward the viewer's left with his head turned partly toward the viewer's right. He is shown in a black coat, vest, and bow tie. A red drapery hangs behind him. The left panel of the folder gives a description of the metal plate which is printed in white ink on a black background. The back of the folder is an advertisement for the Metal Reproductions done by The VanDoorn Company of Quincy, Illinois.
