Description
Lincoln's mother-of-pearl and sterling silver pen knife. The knife case is etched with large leaves on the front and two sunbursts on the reverse. A small sterling plate is embedded in the case and is engraved with "A. Lincoln" in script. The blade is engraved with scrollwork and stamped with a hallmark on one side. The hallmark features the profile of the queen, a crown, the letter M, a lion, and the letters JYC. The reverse of the blade is engraved with "A. Dunn [?]."
