Description

This linen postcard features a reproduction of the bronze tablet located on the exterior of the David Wills house in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. The rectangular plaque includes a head and shoulders right profile of President Abraham Lincoln at the top with the text of his Gettysburg Address below. Pictured behind the plaque are two American flags and two bayonets against a background of either clouds or plumes of smoke. The caption is printed along the top edge. The number 32 is printed in the lower left corner of the postcard. The postcard reverse is divided and has narrative text on the left side.
