Description

This is a reproduction of a photograph taken in April, 1865, after the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln in the president's box of Ford's Theatre on April 14, 1865. The box was decorated with large flags, one on each side of the box and one draped over the railing. A framed print of George Washington was placed at the center of the railing.
