Description
This postcard features a reproduction of a painting by artist/illustrator James E. McBurney depicting Abraham Lincoln as he might have looked when riding the Eighth Judicial Circuit in Illinois as part of his law practice in the 1840s and 1850s. Lincoln is shown on horseback riding through the countryside after the leaves have fallen from the trees. The postcard reverse is divided.
