Description
Large white silk commemorative ribbon. All text and the central image are stamped in black. Text around the central image reads, "Cleveland & Erie Rail Road. Time Card. For Special Train, Friday, April 28th, 1865, Conveying Remains of Abraham Lincoln, Late President of the United States, and Escort." Listing of cities and times that the train will be traveling on the lower half of the ribbon. The large central image shows the casket of Lincoln draped with a US flag. A classical female figure is kneeling beside the casket with one hand over her face and the other hand on the casket. A soldier in a mourning pose is shown on each side of the casket image.
