Description
Purple silk ribbon features a gold-colored pin at the top and a dangling medallion at the bottom. The pin depicts an elephant holding an American flag in its trunk; it stands on top of a bar that reads "Honorary Assistant Sergeant at Arms" in raised letters. The gold-colored medallion features the overlapping busts of two men--Presidents Abraham Lincoln and Dwight Eisenhower. Raised lettersabove, below, and around the busts read, "San Francisco/Republican National Centennial Convention/1956."
