Description

Red, white, and blue striped grosgrain ribbon with a notched tail features a gilt pin across the top embossed with an eagle and painted American flags; "Honored Guest" is printed across the blue bar. A gold rectangular bar dangles from the eagle-shaped pin; it reads "Member of Congress." A short red, white, and blue striped grosgrain ribbon dangles from under the bars and features an attached gilt rounded medal embossed with Abraham Lincoln's profile and laurel branches. "Chicago, 1952, Republican National Convention" is embossed around the edges of the medal. The maker's name and location are printed on the reverse.
