Description

Black silk ribbon is stamped with gold images and text. A red shield painted with a gold "16" is centered on the ribbon; a gold belt is wrapped around the shield and a knight's helmet and flag are visible behind it. "Terre Haute Commandery/K.T./Terre Haute, Ind." is printed above and below the shield. "Louisville Triennial/August-17, 31, 1901" is stamped at the bottom of the ribbon. A yellow celluloid button is pinned at the top of the ribbon and features two red crosses and "New Albany, Ind. Commandery."
