Description

This is a commemorative ribbon made out of white silk. The ribbon has a very detailed three-quarter profile of Abraham Lincoln slightly above the center. The portrait is surrounded by a leaf motif in an oval shape. There is a bow at the bottom of the oval. The word "Lincoln" is written in black lettering below the portrait. There are also very tiny diagonal lines in the background of the oval and throughout the ribbon. Part of The Lincoln Financial Foundation Collection, courtesy of the Indiana State Museum
