The gold-colored pin is rectangular with an ovular bust of President Abraham Lincoln in low relief and "Salt Lake City, Aug. 1909, 43rd National Encpt. G.A.R." printed in raised lettering. A round medallion of a white flower hangs from the pin atop the flag ribbon.
