Description

This is a commemorative ribbon made out of white silk. There is an ovular three-quarter profile of Abraham Lincoln printed against a black rectangle in the center of this ribbon. The words "We Mourn" are written above the box in black lettering. Below the box are the words "Abraham Lincoln Born, February 12th, 1808. Died, April 15th, 1865. A Father Slain," also printed in black lettering. Two thick black bands run across the top and bottom. Part of The Lincoln Financial Foundation Collection, courtesy of the Indiana State Museum
