Description

White silk mourning ribbon. Black ribbon bow with red, white and blue streamers attached at top edge of ribbon. All text and central image are stamped in black. Text directly below the black bow reads, "Post Office Department." Central image of President Lincoln in oval border. Lincoln with beard in suit in three quarters pose. Text on lower portion of ribbon reads, "The Nation Mourns His Loss. He Still Lives in the Hearts of the People." Top and bottom edge of the ribbon frayed.
