A Letter to Tad Lincoln
As politicians and diplomats mourned with Mary Lincoln, a thirteen-year-old boy in Sandusky, Ohio, was thinking about the twelve-year-old boy who had just lost his father. Olin D. Wheeler wrote to Tad Lincoln on April 23rd to share his sadness at the news of Lincoln’s death.
