Letter from Agnes Harkin

A letter from Agnes Harkin (signed “Agnes Black” – her maiden name), dated November 23, 1932, confirms the Harkin’s ownership of the mummy. Agnes also discusses the “ring” found in the body during the examination, and assures the letter’s recipient that her intentions regarding the mummy are pure. She writes, “I would like to continue pushing this matter along until it is recognized by the government.” She continues, saying that her motivations are not fueled by “greed for gold but truth”.
