The Life of Robert Lincoln
Robert Todd Lincoln was far more than just the son of Abraham Lincoln, he was a capable lawyer, became president of one of the most successful companies of the time, served as minister to Britain and as Secretary of War and received support to be the Republican Party’s presidential candidate President in several elections between 1880 and 1912. He was Abraham Lincoln’s son, but he was also far more than that. Robert Lincoln died on July 26, 1926 at the age of 82.
