This printing includes an illustration of Ford's Theatre and a portrait of Joseph H. Hazleton.; Signed by author.; Joseph H. Hazleton (ca. 1853 to October 8, 1936), aka Joseph Hazelton, was an American stage and film actor. He appeared in 30 films between 1912 and 1922. As a boy program giver at Ford's Theatre, he witnessed the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln. An article in Good Housekeeping in February 1927, "This Man Saw Lincoln Shot," is the basis for this leaflet which Hazleton used to raise funds towards the end of his life. In 1933 he recorded an audio version of his account of the assassination of Abraham Lincoln.
