Description

This campaign songster was created for the Republican party for the 1860 presidential campaign. The cover features an image of Abraham Lincoln based on a photograph taken of him on February 27, 1860, by Mathew Brady in New York. Lincoln is wearing a dark suit jacket, bow tie, and white shirt. The title "The Republican Campaign Songster" and the publishing information are also printed on the cover. In the top margin the price, 10 cents, and "No. 3" are printed.
