This gray-toned print features three portraits and three vignettes of William McKinley, Abraham Lincoln, and James A. Garfield. All three portraits have small paragraphs under them that describe how they were assassinated. McKinley is on the far PR, and his portrait faces PL. His vignette features him on the PR side and Leon Czolgosz, his murderer, on the PL side. Czolgosz shoots him and McKinley starts to fall backward while people in the background observe in shock. The middle portrait is Lincoln, who also faces PL. His vignette shows John Wilkes Booth approaching him with gun pointed from the PR, and Lincoln looks over his left shoulder in surprise. His wife is seated on his right and the stage of the theater is in the background. The last portrait is Garfield, whose vignette shows him mid-fall as Charles Guiteau shoots him from behind on the PR side. A man in the PL foreground drops his bag on the ground in shock. Underneath the vignettes is the title, "Presidential Victims of Assassins".
