Description

This postcard is a photograph of the Old Snell Tavern, one of the first public houses built about 1835 in the village of Tecumseh, Michigan. A strap-rail railroad track can be seen in the foreground. An Uncle Tom's Cabin poster can be seen on the side of the building. The postcard is divided and has narrative text printed on the left side.
