Description
This postcard features a room in the house in which Mentor Graham and his son lived after moving to Blunt, South Dakota, in the 1880s. A table with books on it, a rocking chair, a cabinet, and another chair are shown. Mentor Graham met Abraham Lincoln in New Salem, Illinois, and tutored him in grammar and surveying in the 1830s.
