Description
This postcard is a photograph of the heroic-sized, bronze statue of President Abraham Lincoln done by sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens. Located in Grant Park in Chicago, Illinois, President Lincoln is depicted seated in a stately chair with his head slightly downward in a contemplative expression. His right hand rests on his knee while his left arm is on the armrest of the chair. A fringed shawl is depicted draped over the back of the chair.
