This postcard is a photograph of the heroic-sized, bronze statue of President Abraham Lincoln done by sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens. Located in Grant Park in Chicago, Illinois, President Lincoln is depicted seated in a stately chair with his head slightly downward in a contemplative expression. His right hand rests on his knee while his left arm is on the armrest of the chair. A wreath is at the base of the pedestal. The caption is printed along the top edge of the image. The postcard reverse is divided. Part of the Lincoln Financial Foundation Collection, courtesy of the Indiana State Museum
