Description

This colored collotype print features a bearded Abraham Lincoln seated in a chair in front of a pot-bellied stove with an open door with his feet resting on top of the base. He is positioned so that he is in a right profile view. The room is only illuminated by the light of the oven. A dog sleeps on the floor to his right. Two men can be faintly see huddled together on the floor in the background - one of the men smokes a cigar or pipe. The artist's signature, "Campbell" is written in the lower left corner, with a seal stamped in the same location. The seal reads, "Copyright for Campbell Art Co. Elizabeth, NJ."
