Description
Sheer white silk commemorative ribbon is stamped with black images and text. "In Honor of the Glorious Anniversary of our Independence, July 4th, 1840" is printed at the top in several different fonts. An eagle with spread wings against a sunburst is pictured directly below. An ovular portrait of General William Henry Harrison is printed in the center of the ribbon. "Son of Benj. A. Harrison, one of the Signers of the Declaration of Independence, July 4th, 1776" is printed directly below his image. A log cabin motif is printed at the bottom of the ribbon above the following text: "We will take him from the plough/1841/Published by Valentine, 100 William St. N.Y."
