Description

This linen postcard features a view at night of the Lincoln Memorial built to honor Abraham Lincoln, the sixteenth president of the United States. Dedicated in 1922, the building, constructed in the form of a Greek Doric temple, stands opposite of the Washington Memorial on the western end of the National Mall. The entire image is surrounded by a cream-colored border with the caption printed in the top margin. The number 40807 is printed in the lower right corner of the border.
